About Mancala
Mancala is a generic name for a family of two-player turn-based board games played with small stones, beans, or seeds and rows of holes or pits in the earth, a board or other playing surface. The objective is usually to capture all or some set of the opponent's pieces.
Players take turns 'sowing' seeds from one of their pits, dropping a seed in each subsequent pit around the board. Strategy comes into play when deciding which pit to start from to land in your own 'store' (for an extra turn) or an empty pit (to capture opponent seeds).
How to Play Mancala?
- Click a pit on your side to pick up all seeds.
- Seeds are distributed counter-clockwise.
- Land in your store for a free turn.
- Land in an empty pit on your side to capture opposite seeds.
